Every summer, when the air conditioner at home must "go to work", it is very necessary to conduct a "full body check" on the air conditioner before use.
This is very helpful for protecting the health of users and prolonging the service life of air conditioners. However, before using the air conditioner, you need to understand some mistakes.
1. Why can't the air conditioner be turned on immediately after it is turned off?
After the air conditioner is turned off, it can be restarted at least every three minutes. The main reason is that the pressure of the air conditioning refrigeration system is unbalanced, and liquid hammer will appear in the compressor, causing damage to parts and affecting the service life of the compressor. Therefore, the electronic control design has specially designed the delay time for restarting the air conditioner at least every three minutes after it is turned off.
2. Is it normal that the air conditioner sometimes makes a "crack" sound within ten minutes before starting?
The air conditioner shell is made of thin milky white embossed plastic, which is light in weight and elegant in appearance. However, it will occur with temperature changes and physical phenomena of thermal expansion and cold contraction. Therefore, the "crackling" sound of the air conditioner is the sound generated by small deformation of the housing, not a fault.
3. After some wall mounted air conditioners are turned off, the indoor motor continues to operate. Is it normal?
This is normal. In order to prevent mold from forming on the evaporator, the electrical control design is specially designed to keep the indoor motor running for 10 minutes after shutdown, dry the water on the evaporator and keep the evaporator clean.
4. When the air conditioner is running, some products will occasionally make a "click" sound similar to running water. Is this normal?
During the operation of the air conditioner, the internal refrigerant state changes constantly, from liquid to gas, and then from gas to liquid. This normal physical phenomenon flows at a certain speed in the refrigeration system. Due to certain resistance, it will produce the sound of running water, which is normal, especially in the late night.
5. What kind of "noise" of the indoor unit is normal when the air conditioner is working?
A. The wind noise of the air conditioner can be improved by adjusting the corresponding wind speed.
B. The "cracking" and cold shrinkage of the thermal insulation layer of the plastic parts of the air conditioner cannot be completely avoided, and can only be improved by adjusting the tightness or position of the shell.
C. The sound of rapid vaporization and liquefaction of refrigerant in the pipeline.
6. Some people think that the slightly smelly wind from the air conditioner is caused by Freon leakage, right?
In fact, Freon is odorless, and the odor may come from indoor smoke and other odors. Frequent cleaning of the filter screen can effectively avoid such problems.
7. If the indoor temperature cannot be reduced, is there a problem with repair air conditioner ?
First, manually test whether the air conditioner outlet and air outlet temperature are abnormal. If cold air is blown out, it means that the air conditioner is not faulty. The reasons for the rise of indoor temperature may be that there are too many indoor personnel, too much heat dissipation, high outdoor temperature, untight closing of room windows, untight closing of curtains, heat sources near air conditioners, and frequent opening and closing of room doors.
Most of the time, there is no real fault of the central air conditioner, but it is caused by some small problems, so users need to judge and find it by themselves first. In many cases, the problem has been solved, saving a lot of maintenance costs.
However, if you find that the central air conditioner has a fault, you should turn it off in time and find out the reason in time. Don't work with mistakes, or you will cause more losses.
